This project consisted of transformation of the space into a multi studio rehearsal facility for Disney Cruise lines. Requiring head room for trapeze training Overall the stage shows on their ships, 30ft ceilings was a prerequisite.  numerous large studios were constructed, equipped with structural steel rigging networks in the ceiling and sprung flooring throughout the space. We also built out 5 smaller sound insulated vocal rooms, a lounge and kitchen area as well as offices for Disney’s support staff.

Among its many challenges were logistics as the anchor tenant in the building is the CBC. Noise was a constant concern while they maintain radio and television broadcasts from the building as well the project was on the 4th basement level making site access a constant challenge for equipment, materials and personnel. Overall the project was completed successfully, on schedule and fully met and exceeded Disney’s expectations.
